Terms and conditions of hire – Skip Away ABN – 43 819 857 448

Payment of bin hire & waste disposal is due prior to or on delivery of bin. Skip bins will not be supplied if payment, for whatever reason is not received.

As per environmental protection agency schedule 7 – no asbestos is permitted (additional charges &/or refusal to remove bin until it is safe to do so may apply).

Only fill to top rim of bin. Any overfill may be left behind or charged at our applicable rate per cubic metre and additional tonnage.

If any particular skip bin has a weight limit and the contents loaded into the bin exceed that weight limit, the customer will be charged the lesser of either excess weight or an upgrade to the appropriate waste type. If payment for the bin was made via credit card/debit card, the card will be charged automatically for any extra amounts.

Damage to bins (during the term of hire) which have been delivered in good condition will be at the customer’s expense.

Bins are not to be moved from the delivery position and access must be maintained to allow safe collection of bin. Failure to comply will incur an additional $110.00 call out fee. The hirer is also responsible for any costs to get the skip bin to a position then that we can recover the bin with our vehicle.

Bins shall not be moved by bobcats and other machinery. Any damaged caused by movement of the skip will be charged directly to the hirer. It will not be the responsibility of Skip Away to reclaim costs from third parties.

The driver will place the bin in the safest position upon delivery. If you require the bin to be placed in a different position you take on the risk and associated damage costs if applicable for any damage incurred to yours or council property as a result.

No fires to be lit in bins.

The hirer is responsible for the skip bin once the bin has been delivered.

Refund policy- for a cancelled order we require at least 24 hrs notice. Once skip bin has been delivered there will be no refund.

If you order a merchant chargeback for any payments made to Skip Away, waste will be returned to your property at a later date.

In the event we are unable to complete the order a refund will be issued to the hirer.

Skip Away retains the right to terminate bin hire.

Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in additional charges

By ordering and / or accepting the skip bin, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Communications:

Skip Away uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as emails, accounts information, and critical service details. We may also use this information for other purposes, including some promotional emails. If at any time a customer wishes not to receive such correspondence, they can request to be removed from any mailing lists by emailing us at skipawaypenrith@gmail.com
